It encompasses the study of both Interior Architecture and Design within the built environment, while focusing on the human interface within given spaces. The emphasis is placed on space planning, creative problem-solving, communication skills, knowledge of building materials, construction, computer-aided drafting and the history of design. Students are expected to provide design solutions to a wide variety of complex real-life space problems.

They accept that different eras will demand different values, skills, behaviors and competencies. Subsequently, students are encouraged to continuously upgrade and remain competitively relevant with the tools they have learned. The programme focus on many design activities aptly applied in practices and draws its strength from the way functional blocks of interior space planning are integrated to facilitate the consideration of different approaches to achieve optimum solutions.
Development of the student professional acumen to participate in the small scale and residential fields of interior projects is the ultimate objective of the programme. The key factor of the programme is the inclination toward applied practice. The students are expected to be able to appreciate the process of space planning and design. Also to be able to constructively contribute towards organizational success and personal growth.
The overall emphasis of the Programme is to provide the students with “hands-on” knowledge. The classroom environment is traded for real world experience. This multi-faceted programme includes project preparation, presenting relevant solutions, and acquiring professional skills and experience. From 3D modelling to project management, Interior Design courses will teach you skills needed for a creative career using your eye for detail.
Most interior design courses consider technical content, understanding of volume and space, light, function and use. - Design Management MA -
Managing creatives and the creative process in collaboration with other functional teams requires a broad skillset, including technical know-how and leadership characteristics.
Established techniques of leadership and management will be taught alongside access to the Faculty’s wide range of creative activities. Creative practitioners are increasingly being regarded as multi-disciplinary within the design industry. The course focuses on challenges and creative culture, as well as a deeper understanding of design processes, evaluation and expectations.
This course aims to explore a mix of creative design, management and leadership processes to equip you with the skills and expertise that could be used to lead effective creative design which may have commercial value within industrial, retail or service sectors. It is structured around the three themes of communication, collaboration and creativity.
- Interior Design MA -
This MA course develops an advanced knowledge of the principles, application and practices of professional interior architecture and design – encouraging you to come up with original, creative solutions to challenging design problems.
The course provides physical and digital and creative spaces to explore projects and solutions that seeks to take into consideration a wide range of scales of environment. This ranges from interior objects to large public spaces, small spaces such as coffee shops to large scale interiors such as airports.
There is a strong focus on interdisciplinary integration, professional enhancement and design enquiry – students from different disciplines may work together in teams, charrettes and industry competitions.

- Design Management MA -
Managing creatives and the creative process in collaboration with other functional teams requires a broad skillset, including technical know-how and leadership characteristics.
Established techniques of leadership and management will be taught alongside access to the Faculty’s wide range of creative activities. Creative practitioners are increasingly being regarded as multi-disciplinary within the design industry. The course focuses on challenges and creative culture, as well as a deeper understanding of design processes, evaluation and expectations.
This course aims to explore a mix of creative design, management and leadership processes to equip you with the skills and expertise that could be used to lead effective creative design which may have commercial value within industrial, retail or service sectors. It is structured around the three themes of communication, collaboration and creativity.
- Interior Design MA -
This MA course develops an advanced knowledge of the principles, application and practices of professional interior architecture and design – encouraging you to come up with original, creative solutions to challenging design problems.
The course provides physical and digital and creative spaces to explore projects and solutions that seeks to take into consideration a wide range of scales of environment. This ranges from interior objects to large public spaces, small spaces such as coffee shops to large scale interiors such as airports.
There is a strong focus on interdisciplinary integration, professional enhancement and design enquiry – students from different disciplines may work together in teams, charrettes and industry competitions.
