Programme Details:

The Diploma in Product Design programme at Raffles College of Higher Education encourages creativity, viable and ecologically friendly products – through conceptualization, originality, technical skills, and professionalism. Close ties with industry also give the student a strong sense of ‘reality’ and realization of career prospects for the future.

Students will experience a broad-based, diagnostic curriculum – grasping investigational, analytical, and problem solving design skills through a project based, modular system – which also encourages the investigation and understanding of varying materials, introduced to the creative process, with emphasis on applications in Product Design.

The programme objectives are delivered through lectures, seminars, case studies, studio workshops and tutorial feedback with a range of assessment methods including research and project work, presentations, written assignments, and examinations.
