SIDA Youth Awards 2026

Two Gold, three Silver, one Bronze and three Honourable Mentions for Raffles Singapore
The Singapore Interior Design Awards (SIDA) is organised by the Society of Interior Designers, Singapore (SIDS), the professional body for the country’s interior design industry. Founded in 1994, SIDS has grown to more than 1,100 members. It works to raise professionalism and awareness of good design, and to mentor and nurture young talent.
Introduced in 2020, SIDA Youth was created to give emerging designers greater exposure, encouragement and opportunities for development. It began as a platform for students in Singapore and now welcomes young talent from international design institutions, bringing different cultures, contexts and perspectives into the conversation.

A SIDA Youth award matters because it comes from the profession itself. Projects are judged by jury panels of industry practitioners, and the awards are designed to support young designers as they move from education into practice. That support comes through exposure, connections with practitioners and industry partners, and opportunities for mentorship and continued learning. For a student designer, recognition at this stage tells the wider design community that their work and their potential are worth watching.
The Raffles Singapore projects recognised this year cover a wide range of spaces and purposes. They include designs for social impact and healthcare, for dining, for public spaces and for the workplace. Raffles Interior Designer Danielle MILLS was recognised for two separate projects, while Raffles Interior Designer MU Zhouxing’s “Grain to Garment” was honoured in two categories at once.
