Raffles Designers helps as MM Design Ambassadors
at FIND Design Fair Asia 2023

Raffles Designers from MA in Design Management, Product, and Interior Architecture and Design programmes were at FIND – Design Fair Asia at Marina Bay Sands as MM Design ambassadors and also got to network with over 350 exhibitors and 15,000+ visitors who gathered over three days.

This experience opened doors to valuable connections in the design world, connecting our Raffles Designers with global design companies, preparing them for the future.

‘Evolution’ is a stunning showcase of original creations by our very OWN RAFFLES DESIGNERS, ignited by the brilliance of Shepard Fairey‘s artistry and messages.

Immerse yourself in the boundless imagination of our talented Raffles Designers from the Visual Communication Design programme as they bring art to life in 3D! Our Raffles Designers, through the inspiration of Shepard Faireyโ€™s art, developed multiple design pieces that transcend the paintings, giving a three dimensional interpretation of the pieces, breathing in new life and new meanings to the complex artwork โ€“ a feat to admire!

This immersive experience will transport you on a thrilling journey, complete with dazzling graphic and fashion exhibits painstakingly designed by Raffles Graphic, Fashion, and Interior Designers!

“The extended exhibition titled Evolution: The Future is Unwritten, happening from 15 September to 2 October, in collaboration with ION Orchard and Raffles College of Higher Education.

Running alongside Shepard Faireyโ€™s first solo exhibition at Opera Gallery, Evolution: The Future is Unwritten is an extended exhibition happening from 15 September to 2 October. With generous support from ION Orchard and design and curation by the talented students of Raffles College of Higher Education,ย Evolutionย will use Shepard Faireyโ€™s art as inspiration to explore the connections between street art and the world around us. This immersive, dynamic exhibition will feature exclusive behind-the-scene footages of Fairey, inviting viewers to take a peek into the life and inner workings of this world-renowned artist. Aside from providing insight into the artistโ€™s practices, the showcase will also feature the reinterpretations of his work through installations and a fashion showcase created by the students of Raffles College of Higher Education, using Faireyโ€™s works as inspiration to create a zero-waste fashion collection.” – ION Orchard

Chinatown Light Up 2023

Witness theย artistic fusion of our Raffles Animation, Design Management, Interior Architecture, and Product Design talents as they collaborated over three months to craft this visual masterpiece for this yearโ€™s enchanting festive light-up in Chinatown!

Raffles College of Higher Education is proud to share that this year’s Mid-Autumn Festive Lighting at Chinatown was designed by Raffles Designers from Animation, Design Management, Interior Architecture & Design, and Product Design programmes. 26 students, Chinese and non-Chinese, from different nationalities took part in this year’s design challenge to celebrate TOGETHERNESS regardless of race and ethnicity. The festive light-up was officiated by Singapore President, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

This year’s Chinatown Mid Autumn Light Up Design is a collaboration between Raffles College of Higher Education with Kreta Ayer Community Club and Chinatown Festivals.
