Raffles X Hilton: Lunar New Year 2026 Red Packet Design

Hilton Singapore Orchard selects Raffles Designer YING Zhixuan’s red packet design for 2026!

As the Chinese New Year celebrations continue, Hilton Singapore Orchard, Raffles Designer YING Zhixuan drew inspiration from the centuries-old spectacle of Iron Flower fireworks, translating its fleeting sparks into flowing floral lines and luminous detailing.

Executed with refined finishes such as foil stamping and velvet lamination, the design expresses harmony, brilliance, and renewal, aligning material craftsmanship with festive symbolism.

Through these projects, our designers demonstrate how tradition is not reinvented, but enriched — strengthened through concept, symbolism, and thoughtful execution.

Congratulations, Zhixuan!

UNIQLO’S Flower of Peace for World Art Day

Over 50 Raffles Designers and Marketers created UNIQLO’S Flower of Peace for World Art Day

World Art Day is celebrated each year on 15 April, and more than 50 students from Raffles Singapore campus
came together to celebrate peace this World Art Day with UNIQLO’s Flowers of Peace workshop held on 15 April 2025.

About the Workshop

Inspired by Picasso’s iconic Bouquet of Friendship, Flowers of Peace is a 90-minute collaborative art workshop led by Artolution’s teaching artists, Zero and TraseOne, as they bring their expertise in community art making and collaborative storytelling. In a reflection on peace through art, Raffles Designers and Marketers were invited to contribute to a collaborative artwork, a collage of creations envisioning hope and our collective power to create positive change.

Where will the artworks be displayed?

Their artworks will be featured in a community art piece, put together by Artolution, to be displayed at the Picasso Museum in Paris.

On 16 May 2025, the International Day of living together in Peace, all 25 artworks, including a collage of
Singapore’s artworks, will be collated into one grand art piece and unveiled at the Picasso Museum in Paris and displayed for the public. It will be displayed at UNIQLO Marais thereafter.

Together, we create positive change by Design!

Chinatown’s Mid-Autumn Festival 2024

Raffles Design Lights Up Chinatown’s Mid-Autumn Festival 2024

After the successful collaboration with the Kreta Ayer Community Club Management Committee and Singapore Tourism Board in designing the Mid- Autumn Festival Light-up in 2023, Raffles Design is proud to design for this year’s Mid-autumn Festival Light-Up again.

The winning design proposed by teams of multi-disciplinary Raffles Designers was titled, An Odyssey Through Generations.

This design concept aims to take Singapore’s Chinatown visitors, local or international, on a journey through time, showcasing iconic elements of each era. The design concept depicts three generations celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival together, from the days of simple kampongs to today’s modern city. Despite the nation’s economic development, the spirit of the festival remains the same, honouring its cultural significance, our kinship across generations and races, celebrating as one community.

Tianjin University of Commerce Boustead College
China Curriculum Development Visit 2024

Raffles College of Higher Education welcomed delegates from Tianjin University of Commerce Boustead College, an institute of RafflesEducation, to the Singapore campus for an education and teaching development seminar! 🎓✨

The visit provided invaluable insights for all faculty members between the two institutions! They shared pedagogical approaches and investigated new areas to improve student’s learning experiences and graduate outcomes.

As part of their visit, the delegates viewed Midori collection by Raffles Jewellery Designer Mifuyu FUKAI at the RISIS boutique. Mifuyu’s passion for design, coupled with her reverence for Japanese culture, served as the driving force behind the Midori collection.

The Midori collection is a testament to Mifuyu’s artistic vision and meticulous craftsmanship. Inspired by Japan’s enchanting bamboo forests, each piece in this collection exudes elegance and sophistication. Crafted with precision and adorned with prasiolite (green amethyst), this collection is currently retailed at RISIS and now available in white gold and rose gold due to popular demand.

Raffles Designers not only learn from industry collaboration but also excel in them to bring their designs from Design to Retail.

Beyond individual success stories, this collaboration symbolizes Raffles’s commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation of creatives. By providing students like Mifuyu with real-world opportunities and industry exposure, we aim to foster innovation, excellence, and career readiness for Raffles Designers.
